Girl 2: Well sometimes I feel as if you don't wanna be my manz but and yes I'm a lil conceited but I'm never too good for anybody honestly I want us 2 be cool cuz we was manz from da start and we been through 2 much.

Girl 1: Well I can try but don't expect me ta hang wit u like _________________ cuz the reason we aint been dat close is cuz it still hurts from wen u, [boy] n [boy] __________ I 4gav u but it still hurts.

A History on Queers

(I had a student who would not stop using the word "queer" as a derogative term for other boys. So I asked him to write me a history on the usage of the word as a slur for gay men.)

History on Queers

One day in the 1950's the word queer was used for, or to be weird, unusual, homo, and bisexual. A man named Quincy Williams. When he heard of a man that was a drag queen so he mixed the word drag queen and gay and mixed to named queer.

Then in the 1970's they start using it alot for many reasons just to make people feel bad. So they can be out of place or don't feel cool. Some people say queer as a white word for gay or faggot.

Queer also means suspicious, or means be suspect. Then in the 1990's people just used it because they was mad or abset for some so they used the word Queer. Like for example, "That is so queer, man."

2000's people stop using it less, the word kinda ran out so the word faded away unil a dude named [student] brought it back in Ms. T's class.

Breaking Up is Hard to Do.

Girl: What's rong?

Boy: IDK, jus alot on my mind.

Girl: U wanna break up with me?

Boy: IDK, I already know that you want to break up wit me, so I guess I want you to be free. *The cut on my arm will heal. You don't have to stay wit me. dnt try to spare my feelings I know that you want to, so jus go ahead. I'm a boy I can take it.

Girl: Ok. No I dnt. You listening to ur friends that's y you think I do. And I feel that you do cuz ur not being you like you usually are. And if I watned to break up with you I would've been said it. Remember wen you asked me if I wanted to , I said no. Where is all this coming from?

Boy: I just don't know anymore. Maybe me and you just need to take a break for a while and just try again.

Girl: Ok [Boy]. But just to let you know watever you think I think about you in a negative way, I don't. IDK. I did all I could with me and you and you just wanna end it?

Boy: I'm not ending it, we just need a break.

Girl: Ok, I guess we do.

Boy: Don't get me wrong. I still like you, we just need a break. Please don't make this hard.

Girl: K do what you gotta do.
